SEO Meta Data Checker
See exactly what search engines read in the head of your page: title, meta description, H1, canonical, robots directives, Open Graph and hreflang, with a Google-style preview and clear verdicts.
The elements that decide your click-through rate and indexing.
Most on-page problems live in the head of the document. They are invisible to visitors and easy to miss, but they decide how a page appears in search results and whether it gets indexed at all.
The clickable headline in search results and the strongest on-page relevance signal. Too long and Google truncates it; too vague and nobody clicks.
30 to 60 charactersThe snippet under the title. It does not affect rankings directly, but a specific, benefit-led description lifts click-through rate.
70 to 160 charactersOne H1 that states the topic, with H2s that structure the content. Multiple H1s or none at all confuse both readers and crawlers.
Exactly one H1Tells Google which URL is the master version. A missing canonical invites duplicate content; a canonical pointing elsewhere means this page will not rank itself.
Meta robots and the X-Robots-Tag header. A stray noindex on a money page is one of the most expensive mistakes in SEO, and one of the easiest to miss.
Open Graph controls how the page looks when shared on LinkedIn or WhatsApp. Hreflang tells Google which language and country version to show.
Small changes, measurable gains.
Put the main keyword near the front, add the differentiator (price, speed, location) and end with the brand. Avoid stuffing three variations of the same keyword.
- Unique per page. Duplicate titles are a signal of thin or templated content.
- Match the search intent: a category page needs a different title than a guide.
Say what the page delivers and why it is better than the other nine results. A clear call to action helps. Google rewrites descriptions it finds irrelevant, so keep it on topic.
Canonicals that point to the old domain, to http instead of https, or to a parameter URL quietly kill rankings after a replatform. Run this check on each template after go-live.
Staging settings, SEO plugin defaults and “discourage search engines” toggles all add noindex. Check the money pages monthly and after every plugin update.
